UCF Telecommunications continuously strives to improve your campus telephone service and in doing so, has enhanced the UCF telephone system to follow the universal standard of dialing "9" to access an outside line. No longer do you need to decide if a number is local, toll, or long distance. Simply dial "9" and the system will route the call for you in the most economical way.

UCF has become a node on the Florida Lambda Rail (FLR).  Thru the use of fiber-optics, the  campus now has 10GB of Internet bandwidth to support research and educational applications.  For more information visit the FLR Web site.

Authorized departmental staff are able to view their department's telecommunications usage and fees by using the Telecommunications Management Suite.
